Old fashioned fun!

Gunny Sack races were a big hit with families! We even had some adults get involved, but bladder control became a slight issue!

Flowers for Memorial Day

We had fun making these simple paper flowers to give as gifts or to decorate graves of those we love!

A really (expensive) important repair

This is the old water pump. It went down into the well and serviced the campground for 50 ish years until it finally gave out this summer. You can see that it had holes in it and was not providing the pressure needed to bring water to all of the sites.

This is the new water pump. It has a lot of cool features that would probably seem boring here... but it provides plenty of water to all of the sites (even the upper ones-- which used to be drippers!)

Some changes

This was the old sign....
The Cottonwood Family Campground was known to so many and loved by the same....
We hope to carry on many of the great things that have gone on here!
A bright new sign!
